While the US is starting to reopen after the COVID-19 lockdown, it’s still essential to stay vigilant during the ongoing pandemic. In light of this, Temecula has drawn up a Community Recovery and Reopening Plan designed to reduce the risk of infections as the city begins transitioning back to normal life. Sycamore Terrace Apartments is still observing strict health and safety measures to protect all the residents of our apartments for rent in Temecula, CA. As part of this effort, we’re sharing the key points of the Temecula Community Recovery and Reopening Plan.
Temecula Apartments: Updates on Community Recovery and Reopening Plan
The Temecula Community Recovery and Reopening Plan closely follows the California’s Resilience Roadmap Stages. It’s divided into four phases, beginning from the lockdown where only the essential workforce is allowed to operate, up to phase four which signals the end of the stay-at-home order and the reopening of most workplaces. This plan also covers Temecula apartments and residents.
As of May 22, 2020, Temecula apartments and the rest of the city now falls under the accelerated phase two of the Community Recovery and Reopening Plan. Under this stage, lower-risk workplaces are starting to re-open. This covers industries such as retail, offices, manufacturing, limited personal services, and outdoor museums.
In-store shopping in retail stores will now be permitted including swap meets and shopping malls. Restaurants can start accepting dine-in customers, and barbershops and hair salons may accept clients by appointment. The Promenade Temecula has reopened as well, along with the Pechanga Resort Casino. Houses of worship can reopen with modifications. Some parks and city facilities are open as well.
Sectors That Will Remain Closed
A number of businesses, sectors, activities, and establishments will continue to remain closed under the accelerated phase two of the re-opening program. This includes personal services such as gyms and personal studios, nightclubs, and theme parks. Several entertainment venues such as movie theaters and arcade venues shall remain closed as well. Festivals and big events are still restricted.
Following phase two, residents of Temecula apartments should still observe stringent safety precautions. This includes limiting time spent outside your apartment and keeping your activities to the re-opened sectors. If going for outdoor recreation and exercise, only individuals or those from the same household are allowed to participate. Follow disinfection protocols, avoid touching your face, and wear masks as much as possible. Observe proper hygiene and social distancing measures.
Those who have elevated temperatures are encouraged to stay at home. Individuals at higher risk (people with serious medical conditions or those over 65) are advised to stay home until Temecula reaches phase 4.
